Open Arms Executive Director Lisa Chin and Board President Jennifer Head are featured in Doulas comfort soon-to-be-moms, an article from the Northwest Asian Weekly published August 19th. The article introduces the readership to the role of doulas and midwives in the community and announces the receipt of a grant by Open Arms to provide doula care at International Community Health Services, a non-profit health agency dedicated to working with Asian and Pacific Islander populations and other communities in Seattle and King County.
