Talk Story

Pacific Islander Health Board of WA will have their talk story live on Facebook and YouTube on March 31st 2022 at 4:30 pm. They will talk about why healthy eating during pregnancy is important. Please join us as we explore the connection of food during our live Q & A with local birth professionals, next week, Thursday with Lechante Raiwalui (PIHBWA) Childbirth Educator and Triniti Gorbunova (certified Lactation Counselor) from Rainier Valley Midwives and Tara Lawal. (MS LN Executive Director) from Rainier Valley Midwives.

The Pacific Islander Health Board seeks to care for and uplift our communities in a culturally relevant way. Due to the impact of Covid-19 in Pacific Islander community, PIHB is working with Public Health - Seattle & King County in their efforts for testing, vaccinating, and educating the PI community about Covid-19. They are working with The Health Ministry Project, where the PIHB are connecting with NHAPI organizations, community leaders, and churches to build capacity and community connections.
